园林建筑小品园林中供休息、装饰、照明、展示和为园林管理及方便游人之用的小型建筑设施。一般没有内部空间，体量小巧，造型别致，富有特色，并讲究适得其所。这种建筑小品设置在城市街头、广场、绿地等室外环境中便称为城市建筑小品。园林建筑小品在园林中既能美化环境，丰富园趣，为游人提供文化休息和公共活动的方便，又能使游人从中获得美的感受和良好的教益。分类 园林建筑小品按其功能分为五类：①供休息的小品。包括各种造型的靠背园椅、凳、桌和遮阳的伞、罩等。常结合环境，用自然块石或用混凝土作成仿石、仿树墩的凳、桌；或利用花坛、花台边缘的矮墙和地下通气孔道来作椅、凳等；围绕大树基部设椅凳，既可休息，又能纳荫。②装饰性小品。各种固定的和可移动的花钵、饰瓶，可以经常更换花卉。装饰性的日晷、香炉、水缸，各种景墙（如九龙壁）、景窗等，在园林中起点缀作用。③结合照明的小品。园灯的基座、灯柱、灯头、灯具都有很强的装饰作用。④展示性小品。各种布告板、导游图板、指路标牌以及动物园、植物园和文物古建筑的说明牌、阅报栏、图片画廊等，都对游人有宣传、教育的作用。⑤服务性小品。如为游人服务的饮水泉、洗手池、公用电话亭、时钟塔等；为保护园林设施的栏杆、格子垣、花坛绿地的边缘装饰等；为保持环境卫生的废物箱等。创作要点 园林建筑小品具有精美、灵巧和多样化的特点，设计创作时可以做到"景到随机，不拘一格"，在有限空间得其天趣。园林建筑小品的创作要求是：①立其意趣，根据自然景观和人文风情，作出景点中小品的设计构思；②合其体宜，选择合理的位置和布局，作到巧而得体，精而合宜；③取其特色，充分反映建筑小品的特色，把它巧妙地熔铸在园林造型之中；④顺其自然，不破坏原有风貌，做到涉门成趣，得景随形；⑤求其因借，通过对自然景物形象的取舍，使造型简练的小品获得景象丰满充实的效应；⑥饰其空间，充分利用建筑小品的灵活性、多样性以丰富园林空间；⑦巧其点缀，把需要突出表现的景物强化起来，把影响景物的角落巧妙地转化成为游赏的对象；⑧寻其对比，把两种明显差异的素材巧妙地结合起来，相互烘托，显出双方的特点。参考书目刘管平、李恩山主编：《建筑小品实录》，中国建筑工业出版社，北京，1980。
