岷江岷江长江上游支流。位于中国四川省中部。源出松潘县岷山南麓。岷江东源出弓杠岭,西源出郎架岭。两源于红桥关汇流后,自北向南流,经汶川县、乐山市、犍为县,于宜宾注入长江。干流长735千米,流域面积13.5万平方千米。支流多位于西岸,主要有黑水河、杂谷脑河、渔子溪、白沙河、大渡河、青衣江、马边河和越溪河等。岷江在都江堰市以上,河道穿行于崇山峻岭之间。由都江堰市进入都江堰灌区,河流分内、外两大水系,主流外江又称正南江。各河系到彭山江口复合,下至乐山市。乐山至宜宾为下游,两岸为低山起伏的丘陵区,水流平缓,河口附近有冲积阶地。流域降水丰富,多年平均径流深676毫米,年均径流量916亿立方米。5~10月为丰水期,6~9月为汛期,暴雨频繁,往往出现大洪水。11月~翌年4月为枯水期。河水含沙量较少,平均为0.2~1.0千克/立方米。多年平均输沙量4950万吨。都江堰市有著名的都江堰水利工程,灌溉成都平原。都江堰市以下可通航。
