室内声学室内声学roomacoustics研究室内声波的传播规律、声场特性及控制室内音质的学科。属于建筑声学的范畴。室内声学是在研究分析某些房间的室内声学处理中逐渐完善并建立起来的。现代建筑必须对剧场、电影院、会议室、录音棚、播音室等对声音有特殊要求的房间进行科学的室内声学设计。同一个声源在室外和室内产生的音响效果不同。这主要是由于封闭的室内空间使声波产生多次反射引起某些频率声波的共振；这些共振的声波使声音在室内的强度和所含频率成分的分布产生变化，并且极大地影响了声场的建立和衰减过程。研究室内声学特性（音质）主要有几何声学、统计声学和物理声学等方法。几何声学方法类似几何光学法，忽略声的波动性质，利用声线图分析房间的体形和反射面对音质的影响。统计声学方法同样忽略声的波动性质，并假设室内声场是扩散声场，从能量角度研究声传播的平均情况。厅堂音质设计主要是根据统计声学方法得到的公式。物理声学（又称波动声学）方法可以描述室内（尤其是小房间中）声场的本质，但尚未得到可以实用的简单公式；其作用在于阐明几何声学方法和统计声学方法的适用范围。消声器，它的吸声效果接近自由声场
