The color doesn suit me
谈到怎么用英语表达"不适合我"、"我不是太喜欢"，Jenny这样讲了自己在加拿大丝芙兰退口红的经历:
I was returning a lipstick at Sephora. The cashier asked about the reason.我在丝芙兰退口红，收银员问了我原因。I said:“The color doesn suit me.”我说：“这个颜色不适合我。”She said: “So you e not into it.”她说：“所以你不是太喜欢它。”
这里的一大知识点是：
suit [sut] 对(某人)方便; 满足(某人)需要; 合(某人)心意如果说"This dress doesn suit me"一般表示你对裙子的颜色/款式/尺码并不太满意。
I don think a sedentary life would altogether suit me.我不喜欢定居一处的生活。They should be able to find you the best package to suit your needs.他们应该能找到最能满足你需求的方案。
Jenny问道：suit可以形容人与人不合适吗？当然：
He doesn suit you.他和你不合适
suitable [sutbl] 合适的; 适宜的suitable for 适合于She had no other dress suitable for the occasion.她没有其他适合这个场合的裙子了
当然，suit作为名词也还有西装和套装的意思。

Compatible & Fit
“合适”还有另外两种说法：
compatible [kmptbl] 兼容的; 可共存的compatible with.../people or technology 与人合得来/与技术适配Maybe your Andorid charger isn compatible with your iPhone.可能你的安卓充电线就不和苹果手机兼容。对于这种incompatibility（不兼容），Adam的建议是：
Buy an adapter. 买个转接器！
此外还有：
fit [ft] 适合，合身These shoes don fit me. 这双鞋不合我的尺码。在社交环境中，
fit in 合群，融入群体。同样的意思也可以名词使用
good fit 合适的选择Hes not a good fit in/with this team.他和这个团队不太合得来。

Really & Not in love with it
Adam还提到，在口语表达中，一个关键词可以软化语气：really.
当说"Don like it"稍显生硬时，就可以说"Don really like it"，显得更客气。
Adam讲道，自己当要对同事们的想法发表异见时，会把like替换成love:
Not in love with it.Not loving it.甚至可以说：
Not married to it.来表达自己不置可否，期待改变。

Not my cup of tea
Not crazy about it.
其实这样说，已经暗示了：如果没有更好的选择I will go with it（我也可以接受这样）。
更直接生硬的说法是：
Not a fan/not a big/huge fan.为了leave room for the speech（留些商议空间），你可以应用我们之前讲到的技巧，说：
Im really not the worlds biggest fan.
Not my cup of tea.不是我的菜Hiking is not my cup of tea.我不喜欢远足。
Meh
据Adam讲，这句话原本出自动画片《辛普森一家》(The Simpsons)，表现自己的漠不关心。
